PARENTGUIDE was first conceived by me, Gwendolyn de la Chevotiere Creary, in 2008 having been inspired by the television program “Super Nanny”. Years ago, as I planned my career trajectory, I became interested in human development and what was required to optimize developmental outcomes. Having developed in an amniotic environment of inter-generational adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) myself, I also became fascinated with understanding how and why people became mentally ill.
